Why can't I see some articles?
The KPBSD Support Portal is geared toward supporting the District's staff and students, with a smaller "public face" to assist e.g. prospective or registering students. Without logging in, you should be able to see a few truly public-facing articles, but in order to browse or link to all the content that your District staff or student account allows, please log in with your student or employee number.
Connections parents: You are in a somewhat unique position, in that you may not have a District employee number, but you are still the teacher of record for your kids, and you should know that there is much in the Support Portal that is absolutely intended to help you, too. With the understanding that this is not the ideal answer of your having your own full account, what we would encourage is for you to work with your child when it comes to using the Portal, using the existing student account to log in and find what you need. We think you may find much of use in here, especially in the Knowledge Base component. (And of course you, too, are always welcome to engage the Support Helpdesk directly.)
Arriving from an external link. If you click on a link (in, say, an external source like an email) that does go to a resource that requires a login, you should be prompted to authenticate enroute to that resource, and you should continue on to your destination automatically, after authenticating.
