Application is already opened error when using Webpay Biz or Employee portals
The HR Employee or Biz portals (collectively, webpay) do not allow multiple instances of the application to be opened at the same time, and in some cases, may also incorrectly determine that multiple tabs of the same application are open. In this situation, Webpay will display the error: Application is already opened! Multiple instances of this application using tabs or new window is not supported.
Solution
Step 1
Before proceeding further, check to be sure you do not have a second Webpay tab open for either the HR Employee Portal or the Biz Finance Portal. If you have multiple tabs open, close your browser and start again by only opening one tab.
If issues persist, or you do not have multiple tabs open, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2
An automated tool is available to assist with resetting the multiple application detection. To resolve this issue, visit https://webpay.kpbsd.k12.ak.us/resetmultiplewarning.htm. This will reset the multiple application detection logic and redirect you back to the main HR Employee Portal.
