Reset Message Waiting Light from Phone

For users with an assigned Cisco desk phone, the phone may occasionally display the voicemail light indicating there is a message waiting even when there are no new messages. Follow this process to reset the message waiting light back to an off state.

Solution

Dial 8662 from your Cisco desk phone

Note: The call will immediately drop, but the light should be cleared.
