Update Voicemail Greeting from Phone

For users with an assigned Cisco desk phone, follow this process to update your voicemail greeting presented to callers when you are unable to answer.

Steps

The process first requires you know your voicemail PIN code. If you do no know your PIN code, see Reset Voicemail PIN Code.
From your desk phone, dial * followed by your assigned 4-digit extension (e.g. *8801).
At the first recording, enter your PIN code followed by #.
At the next voice-enabled menu, say "Personal Options."
Press 2 for the Record Greetings option.
Press 1 to record a personal greeting.
Follow the menu prompts to record and apply your new personal greeting.
